Water sitting in the base, glasses coming out cloudy, or a slow drip working its way into the cabinet. We find what's actually causing it and put the machine back to work.

Dishwashers fail quietly. By the time the symptom is obvious, the cause has usually been developing for weeks.
Book a visitA clogged filter, a blocked drain hose, or a pump that has stopped. Food debris and a restricted air gap sit behind most of them.
Spray arms blocked by debris, water pressure too low on the inlet side, or a wash motor no longer building enough force to reach the upper rack.
The gasket hardens and cracks with age. Less often the latch pulls unevenly, or there's a hairline crack in the tub.
A failed inlet valve, a float switch stuck up, or a latch the board doesn't register as closed.
Hard water scaling on the element and spray arms, sometimes together with a detergent dispenser opening at the wrong moment.
Heating element failures and thermistor faults cut cycles short, often with nothing shown on the display at all.
We ease the unit out, inspect the filter and trace the drain route, then run a short programme with the panel off so every stage is visible. Two minutes is usually enough for the fault to show itself.
Cabinets and flooring get protected before anything moves, and we inspect the supply and drain connections while the unit is out. A slow leak behind a dishwasher does more damage than whatever we were called for.
Dishwasher codes concern water arriving, heating, or leaving. These are the ones we decode most often.
Bosch
The base float has lifted, so anti-flood protection has taken over.
Bosch
Element or blocked filter, leaving the load cold and still wet.
Samsung
Supply problem at the inlet: valve, tap, or the screen behind it.
Samsung / LG
Drain fault from an obstructed pump, a kinked hose, or a blocked air gap.
LG
Wash motor drawing outside tolerance, or no water reaching the tub.
Whirlpool / KitchenAid
Recirculation or long-drain fault, usually something lodged in the pump.
Whirlpool / Maytag
Heating circuit out of action, so the dry stage stops working too.
Frigidaire
Moisture sensed in the base, or a drain route that has closed off.
Anti-flood codes such as E15 mean water has already reached the base pan. Shut the supply off at the tap and stop running cycles, because the pump keeps pushing water while the leak continues.
Near-silent Bosch integrated units through to workhorse Whirlpools. Danby appears in condos and secondary suites, and we cover those too.
Dishwasher calls throughout Caledon, from the newer subdivisions to the older village properties where the plumbing needs a careful eye.

Get directionsEvery cycle left standing water in the base. He cleared the line, fitted a new pump and ran two cycles to be certain before leaving.
Glasses kept coming out with a white haze. The spray arm holes were blocked and the element was scaled. Both sorted in one visit.
A slow leak had started to swell the cabinet before I noticed. New door gasket, and he checked the supply line while he was under there.
