Cooling problems announce themselves in several different ways, and each points somewhere else inside the cabinet.
Book a visitThe compressor runs and the light works, yet the shelves sit closer to 8°C than 4°C. Look to the evaporator fan, a blocked defrost drain, or a door seal that no longer grips.
Sheets of frost forming behind the freezer drawer mean the defrost cycle isn't completing. The heater, bimetal thermostat, or the board controlling them has stopped doing its part.
Melt water should run down a tube into a pan and evaporate. A frozen or blocked drain line sends it across your floor instead.
A compressor that runs without pause is losing the battle against dust-packed condenser coils, a refrigerant fault, or a start relay near the end of its life.
Hollow cubes, no cubes, or a solid block in the chute. The inlet valve, the module motor, and a frozen fill tube are the three usual answers.
